NYC Restaurant Week is currently on with hundreds of restaurants participating. The net is abuzz with people discussing the food - and the service. The official site is even sharing recipes of some of the more renowned chefs of NYC.

Surfing through the web, I found many news items about the NYC Restaurant Week and here’s a small sampling (pun intended!) of the news reports:

The city may never sleep, but we do!

This week is New York restaurant week, so a bunch of the top eateries in town are offering fixed price menus for lunch and dinner. What better way to catch a good meal. Lunch was delicious and we enjoyed the surrounding area of Union …

I still hate Robot Chicken

That means 2 things: even more tiny dogs lugged around in tiny totes and NYC Restaurant week! Restaurant week is the special time of summer when you can indulge in a price fixed menu at any number of fine NYC eateries for the reasonable …

New York Restaurant Week

Poor New Yorkers go crazy for restaurant week while servers, bartenders, and bussers are pulling out their hair. I totally recommend hitting up these restaurants while you can maybe afford to! Start reserving now! …

In Search of Restaurant Week Rezzies

Summer Restaurant Week (July 21–25 and July 28–August 1) is fast approaching and eager diners are snapping up reservations for those $24.07 prix fixe lunches and $35 prix fixe dinners. It’s no surprise in this economy that Restaurant …

Restaurant Week: Deal or Dud

I weighed in with my thoughts about Restaurant Week (a time in NYC when hoity-toity eateries sell prix fixe grub for super-cheap) for Metromix. The article’s about Artisanal, a place known for cheese. The moldy kind. Read it up!

All Hail Restaurant Week!!!

So restaurant week, here I come! As soon as the announcement went out, I whipped open my laptop and was scouring the pages of Open Table like they were baseball stats. The pickings are not as good as last year, I have to say. …

NYC restaurant week, ever had a good meal?

So NYC restaurant week is coming up and I’ve been thinking. Of all the places I’ve been during restaurant week, there’ve only been a handful that I actually liked. Montrachet (which seems to be under permanent renovation) & Mercer …
